“ I had read some less than flattering reviews but my wife and I had always wanted to eat at one of his restaurants so for her birthday we went. First let me say our experience with the service was amazing. They were polite professional and quick without rushing us. The food was absolutely delicious. The Heritage Beets, not pictured unfortunately were beautifully plated and tasted great. The Wellington was everything you could want. My wifes fillet was the second best steak I ever tasted, only behind the Wellington. The Sticky Toffee Pudding was the perfect end to the meal. Everyone should experience at least one meal like this. ”

While we visited on a rainy spring day, we agree the outdoor patio and bar would be amazing on a nice day or at night. “ The entire experience was amazing. My husband made a reservation for my birthday because he knows how much I like watching Chef Ramseys shows. We were greeted pleasantly upon arrival and seated promptly. Our waiter was friendly and knowledgeable. The food was the cherry on top. Everything that we ordered was fresh and we didnt have to wait long on any course. The view was also impressive as we went at dusk. I loved the overall experience. ”

“ Best fish and chips west of England for a long time . Very crispy , not oily and just perfection. Everything from appetizer , main to desert was perfect . The bread pudding with toffee sauce to die for . Service very pleasant and professional and ambiance very mellow and enjoyable. Look forward to going back for the fish and chips and more . Only suggestion is you need some British ale or beer . ”
“ GO?!!! Why are you even questioning it by reading reviews like this one? Just go do it at least once in your life. It is a little pricy but if you got the money at least go try it. The food and service were amazing. But its a little loud in there for an upscale restaurant hence the 4 stars for atmosphere. We had the Famous Wellington and the whole fish both were cooked perfectly and very tasty. The sticky cauliflower is my favorite way to eat cauliflower now. The smoked mac and cheese is smokey and unforgettable. The portions are smaller and what you would expect from a luxury restaurant such as this so if youre hungry consider ordering extra sides. The deserts are all good as well. We tried the Gordons Moms recipe toffy pudding, baked Alaska, and a house special secret chocolate style ooey butter cake. 16 Valet parking or free self parking are available. They do have an excellent terrace balcony with an excellent side view of the St Louis Arch, river and city. Overall a must go if only even once. ”

We got roasted chicken and fish and chips with the baked mac n cheese and also the vanilla mascarpone cheese cake and it was all top tear. We will definitely be back.
